To change the oil, first ensure the tractor is on a level surface. Remove the oil drain plug and allow the old oil to completely drain into a pan. Replace the drain plug and fill the engine with new oil as specified in the owner's manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Sharpen the blades every 25 hours of use or at the start of each mowing season for optimal performance.
Check the battery connections, ensure there is enough fuel, and inspect the spark plug for wear. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a professional technician.
Adjust the cutting height by using the lever located near the seat. Move the lever to the desired position to raise or lower the deck.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the gasoline. Store in a dry, cool place and disconnect the battery.
First, remove the deck and locate the drive belt. Release the tension on the belt and remove it from the pulleys. Install the new belt and re-tension it according to the manual instructions.
Check the blades for damage or imbalance, inspect the engine mounts, and ensure all bolts and screws are tightened. If the issue continues, consult a professional.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with compressed air or replace it if it is too dirty. Reinstall it and secure the cover.
Refer to the manual for the recommended tire pressure, typically around 12-15 psi for the front tires and 10-12 psi for the rear tires.
