To start the tractor, ensure it is in neutral, apply the parking brake, and turn the ignition key to start the engine. Allow the engine to warm up before engaging any gears.
The engine oil should be changed every 100 hours of operation or at least once a year, whichever comes first. Always use the oil type recommended in the owner’s manual.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 28 psi and for the rear tires is 20 psi. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
First, check the battery connections and ensure they are clean and tight. Verify that the fuel level is adequate and the fuel shut-off valve is open. Inspect the fuses and replace any that are blown.
Stop the tractor immediately and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down before checking the coolant level and the radiator for blockages. Ensure the fan belt is intact and properly tensioned.
Clean the air filter every 50 hours of operation or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace the air filter element if it is damaged or excessively dirty.
Clean the tractor thoroughly and drain the fuel tank to prevent gum deposits. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor with a tarp to protect it from dust and moisture.
To adjust the clutch, access the clutch pedal free play and adjust the linkage to achieve the manufacturer's recommended free play, usually around 1-2 inches.
First, park the tractor on a level surface and lower all implements. Remove the drain plug to drain the old hydraulic fluid, replace the plug, and fill with new hydraulic fluid to the specified level.
Inspect the battery for corrosion and clean the terminals if necessary. Check the electrolyte level, and refill with distilled water if needed. Ensure the battery is securely mounted and the connections are tight.
