To clean the filters on your Vax V-028M, remove them from the vacuum and tap them gently to remove any loose dirt. Rinse under warm water until the water runs clear. Allow the filters to dry completely before reinserting them.
Ensure the dirty water tank is not full and the nozzle is not blocked. Check the hose for blockages and ensure that the water tank is properly seated in the machine.
Replace the belt on your Vax V-028 every 12 months, or sooner if you notice a decrease in performance or a burning smell during use.
The CCW-502 is designed for carpets and upholstery. For hardwood floors, use a hard floor cleaner or attachment specifically designed for wood surfaces to avoid damage.
A loud noise may indicate a blockage or a problem with the motor. Check for obstructions in the hose or brush bar, and ensure the filters are clean. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Ensure the clean water tank is filled with the correct detergent-to-water ratio. Check that the brushes are clean and operating freely. Adjust the cleaning speed to allow the machine to remove more water.
Unplug the vacuum and turn it over. Remove the screws securing the brush bar cover, then lift out the old brush bar. Insert the new brush bar and reattach the cover securely before use.
Empty and rinse the dirty water tank, clean the nozzle and brush rollers, and allow all parts to dry completely before storing the machine.
Check for blockages in the hose and nozzle, clean the filters, and ensure the dust container is not full. Regular maintenance will help maintain optimal suction.
Check that the detergent tank is filled and properly seated. Inspect the dispensing nozzle for blockages and ensure the solution tube is not kinked or damaged.
