To assemble your Vax U90-P2-P vacuum cleaner, first attach the handle by sliding it into the main body until it clicks. Then, connect the hose by pushing it into the hose inlet until secure. Attach the desired cleaning tool to the end of the hose.
If your vacuum loses suction, check for blockages in the hose or filters. Remove any debris from the brush bar. Ensure the dust container is not full and all seals are intact.
Clean the filters every 3 months and replace them every 12 months, or as needed, to maintain optimal performance.
To clean the brush bar, first unplug the vacuum, then remove the base plate. Clear away any hair or debris wrapped around the brush using scissors if necessary. Replace the base plate once clean.
If your vacuum is overheating, turn it off and unplug it. Check for blockages in the hose and filters, and allow the vacuum to cool for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again.
To improve suction, ensure that the dust container is empty, all filters are clean, and there are no blockages in the hose or brush bar. Regular maintenance can help maintain optimal performance.
The Vax U90-P2-P typically includes a crevice tool, a dusting brush, and an upholstery tool. Attach them to the hose for specific tasks: the crevice tool is ideal for tight spaces, the dusting brush for delicate surfaces, and the upholstery tool for furniture.
If your vacuum doesn't turn on, check the power cable for damage, ensure the plug is inserted correctly, and try a different outlet. Also, check if the safety thermal cut-out has been engaged due to overheating.
Store the vacuum cleaner in a cool, dry place, wrapping the power cord neatly around the designated hooks. Ensure the vacuum is upright, and all attachments are secured in their holders.
To replace the belt, unplug the vacuum and remove the bottom plate. Slide the brush bar out and remove the broken belt. Loop a new belt over the motor shaft and brush bar, then reassemble the vacuum.
