To start the game, each player draws a card. The player with the highest number deals. The dealer shuffles the deck and deals seven cards to each player. The remaining cards become the draw pile, with the top card turned over to start the discard pile.
If the draw pile runs out, shuffle the discard pile to form a new draw pile. Continue the game with the reshuffled deck.
The first player to reach 500 points wins the game. Points are scored by being the first to get rid of all your cards, and the points are calculated based on the cards left in opponents' hands.
The Turtle Power card allows you to choose a color that continues play. It can also be used strategically to change the game’s direction.
If a player forgets to say "UNO" when they have one card left and another player catches them before the next player’s turn begins, the player must draw two cards as a penalty.
Action cards include Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, and Wild cards. Skip makes the next player lose their turn, Reverse changes the direction of play, Draw Two forces the next player to draw two cards, and Wild allows you to choose the color.
Keep the cards clean and dry. Store them in their original box when not in use to prevent bending or damage. Avoid exposing the cards to direct sunlight for extended periods.
If cards are missing, contact Mattel customer service for replacement options. Alternatively, you can use a standard UNO deck to supplement until you get a replacement.
Yes, UNO Mattel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can be played with more than four players, but you may need a second deck to accommodate a larger group comfortably.
The game is recommended for ages 7 and up and can be played with 2 to 10 players.
