To start a game, shuffle the deck and deal 7 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face down to form the draw pile, then flip the top card to start the discard pile. The player to the left of the dealer begins.
If you draw a card and cannot play it, your turn ends and the next player proceeds. If you can play the drawn card, you may do so immediately.
When a Wild Draw Four card is played, the next player must draw four cards and forfeit their turn. The player who used this card also declares the next color to be played.
In the case where multiple players call UNO simultaneously, each player must ensure they have only one card left. If any player is found to have more than one card, they must draw two penalty cards.
No, stacking is not allowed. A Draw Two card cannot be stacked on a Wild Draw Four card. The next player must comply with the action of the card played.
The MLB St Louis Cardinals version follows the standard UNO rules with themed cards and graphics. Enjoy the aesthetics but follow the same gameplay mechanics.
To maintain the cards, store them in a cool, dry place, avoid bending, and keep them away from liquids. Use a card sleeve or case for added protection.
Use a riffle shuffle or overhand shuffle method to mix the cards thoroughly. Ensure that the cards are not bent or damaged during shuffling.
While the game is best with 2-10 players, you can play with more by combining additional UNO decks, but this may alter the balance of the game.
If the draw pile is depleted, shuffle the discard pile (except the top card) to form a new draw pile and continue the game.
