To set up the game, shuffle the deck and place it in the card launcher. Each player draws a card, and the player with the highest value card becomes the dealer. The dealer then deals 7 cards to each player and places the remaining deck in the launcher.
Players take turns matching a card from their hand with the current card shown on the top of the discard pile. Cards must match by number, color, or symbol. Special cards add strategic gameplay. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round.
When a player plays an "Attack" card, the next player must press the button on the card launcher. The launcher may release a random number of cards or none at all, adding an element of surprise to the game.
Ensure the card launcher has fresh batteries and that they are installed correctly. If problems persist, check for jammed cards inside the launcher and remove them. Refer to the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Regularly check the battery compartment for corrosion and replace batteries as needed. Keep the card launcher clean and free from dust, and ensure cards are not bent or damaged to avoid jams.
UNO Attack is designed for 2-10 players. For more than 10 players, consider dividing into two groups and using additional decks if available, or play in teams to accommodate everyone.
Special cards include Reverse, Skip, Draw Two, and Attack cards, among others. Each card has a unique function, such as changing the direction of play or forcing players to draw extra cards.
Players can increase their chances by keeping track of played cards, managing their hand by getting rid of high-value cards early, and strategically using special cards to disrupt opponents.
If two or more players are tied for the lowest number of points after a round, play additional rounds until one player has fewer points than the others.
Ensure that the cards are properly aligned and not bent or damaged. Clean the interior of the launcher to remove any obstructions. If jams continue, consult the user manual for additional maintenance tips.
