Ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil is at the correct level, and the spark plug is connected. Set the throttle to the start position, pull the starter handle gently until resistance is felt, then pull quickly to start the engine.
Perform a general inspection before each use. Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours. Clean the air filter every 25 hours and replace it annually. Inspect the spark plug annually and replace it as needed.
Ensure the mower is off and the spark plug wire is disconnected. Use a brush or compressed air to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck. Avoid using water to prevent rusting.
Check the fuel and oil levels. Ensure the spark plug is connected and in good condition. Inspect the air filter for blockages. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or a professional technician.
Regularly sharpen the blades and ensure they are balanced. Mow when the grass is dry, and adjust the cutting height according to the grass growth.
Use clean, fresh unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Turn off the mower and disconnect the spark plug wire. Adjust the height by moving the spacers on the wheels to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check for debris lodged in the blade area. Inspect the blade for damage or imbalance and sharpen or replace it as needed. Verify that all bolts and nuts are tightened securely.
Inspect the spark plug annually and replace it if there are signs of wear, deposits, or damage. Use the correct type specified in the user manual.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can lead to uneven cutting, clogging of the deck, and increased risk of slipping. Wait until the grass is dry for optimal performance.
