To start the Toro Dingo 320-D, ensure the machine is on a level surface, the parking brake is engaged, and the controls are in neutral. Turn the ignition key clockwise to start the engine.
Routine maintenance includes checking and changing engine oil, inspecting the air filter, checking hydraulic fluid levels, and lubricating all pivot points.
Check for hydraulic fluid leaks, ensure the hydraulic fluid level is correct, and inspect hydraulic hoses for damage. Consult the service manual for detailed diagnostics.
The Toro Dingo 320-D requires diesel fuel. Ensure the fuel is clean and free of contaminants.
To adjust track tension, lift the machine to relieve tension, then use the track tensioner adjustment bolt to achieve the correct tension as specified in the operator's manual.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, inspect fuses, and confirm the safety interlock switches are engaged. Refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual for more guidance.
The air filter should be checked every 50 hours of operation and replaced as needed, or more frequently in dusty conditions.
Toro recommends using a high-quality hydraulic fluid that meets ISO VG 46 specifications for optimal performance.
To change the engine oil, run the engine to warm the oil, then turn it off. Remove the drain plug, allow the oil to drain, replace the plug, and refill with the recommended oil type.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, ensure the work area is clear of bystanders, and follow all safety guidelines in the operator’s manual.
