To assemble the Thule Cadence, start by attaching the wheels to the trailer frame. Then, unfold the frame until it locks into place. Connect the tow arm to the hitch and the bike. Finally, secure the safety strap to the bike frame.
Use a mild detergent with water and a soft cloth to clean the trailer. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the fabric and frame.
Regularly check the trailer for any signs of wear or damage, especially on the hitch, wheels, and fabric. Store the trailer in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust and mildew.
First, check if the valve is functioning properly and there are no punctures in the tire. If necessary, replace the inner tube or consult a professional for repairs.
Adjust the seat belts by loosening the straps and positioning them at the correct height for your child. Ensure the straps are snug but comfortable, and that the buckle is securely fastened.
Check the alignment of the hitch and tow arm. Ensure that the wheels are properly inflated and that the load is evenly distributed within the trailer. Adjust as needed for proper tracking.
The Thule Cadence is primarily designed as a bike trailer and does not have a stroller conversion kit. Consider models like the Thule Chariot for stroller conversion options.
To fold the Thule Cadence, remove the wheels and tow arm. Pull the release handles to collapse the frame and fold it flat. Store it in a dry place to protect it from the elements.
Regularly inspect the hitch for any signs of wear or damage. Lubricate the moving parts with a suitable bike lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
Attach reflectors and a rear light to the trailer to enhance visibility. Additionally, wear reflective gear and ensure your bike has adequate lighting.
