To start the tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is disengaged, and the throttle is set to medium. Turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts, then release it.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the fuel tank has gas, and verify that the spark plug is functioning. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact a service technician.
Change the engine oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10%.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever near the seat and move it to your desired position. Ensure the blades are not engaged while making adjustments.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank, and store it in a dry place. Remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
Check that the tire pressure is equal on all sides, and ensure the mower deck is level. Also, inspect the blades for sharpness and balance.
Turn off the engine immediately and allow it to cool. Check the engine coolant level and radiator for any obstructions or leaks. Consider replacing the coolant if necessary.
Regularly clean the battery terminals and ensure they are tightly connected. Keep the battery charged, especially during long periods of inactivity, and check the electrolyte levels if applicable.
Routine maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the air filter, checking tire pressure, lubricating moving parts, and ensuring the blades are sharp and balanced.
