Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface. Sit in the operator's seat, engage the parking brake, and set the throttle to the 'Fast' position. Turn the ignition key to start the engine.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify that the battery is charged and connections are clean. Ensure the PTO switch is in the 'Off' position and try starting again.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and every 50 hours thereafter. Consult the owner's manual for specific oil type recommendations.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
To adjust the cutting height, use the deck lift lever located on the right side of the operator's seat. Move the lever to the desired position.
Check for debris or obstructions under the deck. Ensure the blades are balanced and properly secured. Inspect the belts for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Keep the battery terminals clean and free from corrosion. Ensure the battery is securely mounted. Charge the battery fully before extended storage periods.
Refer to the tire sidewall for the recommended pressure. Typically, front tires require around 14 psi and rear tires around 10 psi. Always check the owner's manual for specifics.
Check the tire pressure to ensure it is even across all tires. Inspect the mower deck level and adjust if necessary. Ensure blades are sharp and not damaged.
Clean the tractor thoroughly to remove grass and debris. Change the oil and filter, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Store the tractor in a dry, covered area, and disconnect the battery.
