To change the oil, first ensure the tractor is on a level surface and the engine is off. Remove the oil cap and drain plug, allowing old oil to fully drain. Replace the drain plug and fill with new oil, checking the dipstick for the correct level.
Check the battery connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure the fuel tank is not empty and the fuel valve is open. Examine the spark plug for wear and replace if necessary.
Blades should be sharpened after every 25 hours of use or at the start of each mowing season. Regular sharpening ensures a clean cut and helps prevent grass damage.
Use the height adjustment lever located on the side of the tractor. Move the lever to your desired cutting height, ensuring it's secured in a locked position before mowing.
Inspect the air filter every 25 hours of use. If dirty, clean it with compressed air or replace it if it's excessively dirty or damaged.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose parts, or worn out belts. Check for these issues and tighten or replace components as necessary.
Regular maintenance, such as changing the oil, cleaning the air filter, and ensuring the tires are properly inflated, can improve fuel efficiency. Avoid idling the engine for long periods.
Check if the PTO (Power Take-Off) switch is engaged. Ensure the belts are intact and properly tensioned. Inspect the electrical connections to the PTO clutch for any issues.
Check the tire pressure before each use to ensure optimal performance and prevent uneven wear. Refer to the manual for the recommended pressure levels.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it in a dry, cool place. Add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and run the engine for a few minutes to circulate it.
