Simplicity 2691336-04 Broadmoor Parts Manual

The recommended oil type for the Simplicity Broadmoor Tractor is SAE 30 for temperatures above 40°F (4°C) and 10W-30 for temperatures below 40°F (4°C).
The air filter should be checked every 25 hours and replaced if necessary, or at least once a year to ensure optimal engine performance.
To sharpen the mower blades, first disconnect the spark plug wire, then remove the blades. Sharpen using a grinder or file, ensuring a balanced blade to prevent engine vibration. Reinstall securely.
If the tractor does not start, check the battery connections, make sure the fuel tank is not empty, inspect the spark plug, and ensure the PTO switch is disengaged.
To adjust the cutting height, use the hand lever located on the right side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired position to achieve the preferred grass height.
For off-season storage, clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the battery and keep it charged.
Excessive vibration could be due to unbalanced blades, loose components, or engine mount issues. Check and balance the blades, tighten any loose parts, and inspect the engine mounts.
To improve traction on wet grass, consider installing tire chains, reducing tire pressure, or adding weight to the rear of the tractor for better grip.
Routinely check the transmission fluid level and inspect for leaks. Change the transmission fluid as recommended in the owner’s manual to ensure smooth operation.
To replace a blown fuse, locate the fuse box under the hood, identify the blown fuse, and replace it with one of the same amperage. Ensure the tractor is off before performing this task.
