To start the tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is disengaged, and the transmission is in neutral. Turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts, then release the key.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 or 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Always check the owner’s manual for specific recommendations.
It is recommended to inspect the air filter every 25 hours of operation and replace it every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel valve is open, and verify that the spark plug is clean and properly gapped. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact a professional technician.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer, and store the tractor in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the battery and charge it periodically during storage.
Check the tire pressure and ensure they are inflated evenly. Inspect the mower deck for levelness and adjust if necessary. Sharpen or replace the blades if they are dull or damaged.
The recommended tire pressure is typically 10 PSI for the front tires and 12 PSI for the rear tires. Always refer to the operator's manual for exact specifications.
To change the blades, disconnect the spark plug, lower the mower deck, and use a wrench to remove the blade bolts. Replace the blades and tighten the bolts securely before reattaching the spark plug.
Ensure the PTO switch is working properly and check the PTO clutch and wiring for any damage or loose connections. Refer to the manual for specific troubleshooting steps.
Regularly maintain the tractor by changing the oil, replacing the air filter, and ensuring the tires are properly inflated. Avoid overloading the tractor and use the recommended fuel type.
