To start the tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is turned off, and the transmission is in neutral. Insert the key and turn it to the start position. Release the key once the engine starts.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure there is sufficient fuel, and inspect the spark plugs. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
The oil should be changed every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season, whichever comes first.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F and SAE 5W-30 or 10W-30 for temperatures below 32°F. Always refer to the user manual for the most accurate specifications.
Regularly inspect the blades for wear and damage. Sharpen them every 25 hours of use or more frequently if cutting in rough terrain. Replace blades if they show signs of significant wear or damage.
To adjust the mower deck, park the tractor on a level surface, disengage the PTO, and ensure the engine is off. Adjust the deck height using the lever or knob provided until the desired cutting height is reached.
Check if the tires are inflated properly, ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, and verify that the deck is level. Adjust settings as necessary and perform a test cut.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose components, or damaged bearings. Inspect these areas and tighten or replace parts as needed.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, stabilize the fuel, and remove the battery for storage. Store the tractor in a dry, sheltered area and cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
Regularly inspect the air filter, belts, battery, tires, and safety mechanisms. Perform maintenance according to the schedule outlined in the user manual.
