To start the tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, place the throttle in the "fast" position, turn the ignition key to the "start" position, and release once the engine starts.
Check if the battery is charged, ensure the fuel tank has gasoline, verify the spark plug is working, and confirm the safety switches are engaged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 25 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Use SAE 30 oil for general use. In colder climates, use SAE 5W-30. Refer to your manual for detailed recommendations.
Regularly clean the mower deck after each use to prevent grass buildup, check and sharpen the blades, and lubricate the spindles as recommended in the manual.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose parts, or worn belts. Inspect these components and replace or repair as necessary.
Ensure the blades are sharp, maintain proper tire pressure, adjust the cutting height to suit the grass length, and mow at the recommended speed.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage, ensure the transmission release lever is in the correct position, and confirm that the parking brake is released.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, inflate the tires to the recommended pressure, and store in a dry place.
Regularly check the oil level, inspect the air filter, examine belts and hoses for wear, check tire pressure, and ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened.
