The Simplicity 2690102 Conquest Tractor is designed to run on unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.
Check the battery to ensure it's charged and the connections are clean and tight. Make sure there is fuel in the tank, the fuel valve is open, and the choke is in the correct position. If issues persist, inspect the spark plug and ignition system.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 14 PSI and for the rear tires is 10 PSI. Always refer to the tire sidewall or the owner's manual for the most accurate information.
It is recommended to sharpen the mower blades after every 25 hours of use or at the beginning of each mowing season to maintain cutting efficiency.
If the engine overheats, first turn off the tractor and allow it to cool. Check for debris blocking the air intake or radiator fins and remove if necessary. Ensure the coolant level is adequate and the fan belt is in good condition.
Adjust the cutting height by using the lever located near the operator's seat. Move the lever to the desired position, which ranges from 1.5 to 4 inches, depending on the model.
Before storing the tractor, clean it thoroughly and remove any grass clippings. Change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, and disconnect the battery. Store in a dry place and cover it to protect from dust and moisture.
To replace the drive belt, first disconnect the battery. Remove the mower deck and the old belt. Install the new belt following the diagram located on the mower deck. Reattach the deck and reconnect the battery.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose hardware, or worn belts. Check and tighten all hardware, inspect the blades for damage, and replace any worn or damaged parts.
