To change the oil, first warm up the engine, then turn it off and let it cool slightly. Place a pan under the oil drain valve, open the valve, and allow the oil to drain completely. Replace the oil filter and close the drain valve. Finally, refill with new oil as specified in the manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10% to prevent engine damage.
Check the battery connections to ensure they are clean and tight. Verify that the battery is fully charged. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the fuel is fresh and the fuel valve is open.
Perform regular maintenance checks every 25 hours of operation. This includes checking the oil level, inspecting the air filter, and examining the blades. Change the oil every 50 hours and replace the air filter annually or as needed.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever along the tractor's side. Move the lever to the desired position according to the grass height you wish to achieve.
Check the PTO switch to ensure it is in the engaged position. Inspect the belts for any signs of wear or damage and replace them if necessary. Make sure the mower deck is free of debris that could obstruct operation.
Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Tilt the mower deck up for access. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolt and replace the old blade with a new one. Ensure the blade is securely fastened before reconnecting the spark plug wire.
Clean the tractor thoroughly and remove any grass clippings. Change the engine oil and filter. Add fuel stabilizer to the tank to prevent the fuel from degrading. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Ensure the tires are properly inflated according to the manufacturer's specifications. Consider using tire chains for additional grip on slippery surfaces. Reduce speed and avoid sharp turns when operating on slopes.
Check the transmission fluid level and top it up if necessary. Inspect the drive belt for signs of wear or damage and replace it if needed. Ensure that the transmission is not overheating by keeping it clean and free from debris.
