To change the oil, first warm up the engine to ensure the oil flows out smoothly. Turn off the engine and place a drain pan under the drain plug. Remove the plug and allow the oil to completely drain. Replace the plug, fill with new oil, and check the level with the dipstick.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10% to prevent engine damage.
Check the battery connections for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Verify the fuel level and quality. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Change the air filter every 100 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Check it more frequently if you operate in dusty conditions.
The recommended tire pressure is 12 PSI for the front tires and 10 PSI for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface and the engine is running. Lower the mower deck using the lift lever, then engage the PTO switch to start the blades.
Use the height adjustment lever located near the operator's seat. Move the lever to the desired height position, ensuring it locks into place securely.
Excessive vibration may be due to unbalanced blades, loose parts, or damaged belts. Check the mower blades for balance, tighten any loose components, and inspect the belts for wear or damage.
Stop the tractor and let the engine cool down. Check for blockages in the air intake or cooling fins. Ensure the engine oil and coolant levels are adequate.
Clean the tractor thoroughly and remove any grass or debris. Add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and run the engine for a few minutes. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
