Ensure the tractor is on a level surface, sit on the seat, and make sure the parking brake is engaged. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'on' position. Then, turn the key to start the engine. Make sure the PTO switch is off during startup.
Check that the battery is charged and the terminals are clean and tight. Ensure the fuel tank is not empty and the fuel shut-off valve is open. Verify that the spark plug is in good condition and replace it if necessary.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each season. Check the oil level regularly and top up as needed.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Always refer to the owner's manual for the recommended oil type and specifications.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the lever located next to the seat on the right side. Move the lever to the desired position to set the deck height accordingly.
Ensure the tires are inflated to the correct pressure and the mower deck is level. Check for any debris or obstructions under the deck, and make sure the blades are sharp and not damaged.
First, ensure the tractor is turned off and the key is removed. Use a block to prevent the blade from turning, then loosen the bolt securing the blade. Remove the old blade, and install the new blade, ensuring it is properly aligned and tightened.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and add fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Check if the blades are balanced and not damaged. Inspect the engine mounts and ensure they are secure. Additionally, verify that the tires are properly inflated and the deck is not clogged with debris.
Check the transmission fluid level and top it up if necessary. Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace it if needed. Consult the owner’s manual for further guidance or contact a professional technician.
