To change the oil, first warm up the engine. Turn off the tractor and remove the key. Place a pan under the oil drain plug, remove the plug, and let the oil drain completely. Replace the plug, and refill the engine with the recommended oil type and amount.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol to prevent engine damage.
Check the battery connections for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Verify that the fuel tank has sufficient gasoline. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and replace if necessary.
The recommended tire pressure is typically 10 PSI for the front tires and 14 PSI for the rear tires. Always refer to the manual for specific guidance.
Sharpen the mower blades at least once per mowing season or more frequently if you notice uneven grass cutting.
Locate the air filter cover on the engine, remove any fasteners, and take off the cover. Remove the old air filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring it is seated properly. Replace the cover and secure it in place.
Use the height adjustment lever located near the seating area. Move the lever to the desired position, which corresponds to the cutting height in inches.
Check if the mower blades are balanced and properly installed. Inspect the deck for any debris or damage. If the issue persists, consult a professional technician.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, including the deck. Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Perform regular oil changes, check and replace the air filter as needed, inspect the spark plug, and ensure all bolts and screws are tight. Regularly check tire pressure and keep the mower deck clean.
