Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, engage the parking brake, set the throttle to half, turn the ignition key to start, and release once the engine starts.
Check the battery connections, ensure there is fuel in the tank, verify that the parking brake is engaged, and inspect the spark plug for any signs of wear or damage.
Change the oil after every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season, whichever comes first.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and 10W-30 for varying temperature ranges. Always refer to the owner's manual for specifications.
Use the height adjustment lever located near the operator's seat to set the desired cutting height. Ensure the tractor is on a level surface for accurate adjustment.
Turn off the engine, disconnect the spark plug, and use a garden hose to wash away grass clippings and debris. Avoid using high-pressure washers as they may damage the deck.
Excessive vibration can be due to unbalanced blades, debris stuck on the mower deck, or loose engine mounts. Inspect and correct any of these issues as needed.
Check for dull or damaged blades, ensure the tire pressure is equal, and verify that the deck is level. Adjust or replace components as necessary.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion, ensure connections are tight, and keep the battery charged, especially during off-season storage.
Turn off the engine, disconnect the spark plug, raise the tractor to access the blades, and use a wrench to remove the blade bolts. Install new blades and secure them tightly.
