Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Ensure that the fuel is fresh and free from contaminants.
The oil should be changed every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season. Use high-quality engine oil recommended in the manual.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel is fresh, verify that the safety switches are engaged, and inspect the spark plug for wear and proper gap.
Check the tire pressure for consistency, ensure that the mower deck is level, and inspect the blades for sharpness and damage. Adjust as necessary.
Keep the battery terminals clean and free of corrosion. Charge the battery if the tractor hasn't been used for an extended period. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer, and store in a dry location. Disconnect the battery and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Locate the deck adjustment lever or knob, usually found near the driver's seat. Adjust the lever to the desired cutting height, ensuring both sides are even.
Inspect the blades for balance and damage, check for loose bolts or mounts, and ensure the engine is running smoothly. Tighten or replace parts as needed.
Locate the air filter cover, remove it by releasing the clips or screws, take out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new filter is properly seated and secure the cover.
