Ensure the tractor is in neutral, the parking brake is engaged, and the PTO is off. Insert the key and turn it to the start position. Release as soon as the engine starts.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
