Sealey TJ150E Instruction Manual

Ensure the vehicle is securely lifted on a stable surface. Position the jack directly under the transmission's center of gravity and use the adjustable saddle to secure it before lifting.
Before operation, inspect the jack for any signs of damage. Use the foot pedal to raise the jack and ensure the load is balanced. Lower the jack slowly using the release valve to maintain control.
Perform a general inspection before each use. Lubricate moving parts monthly and check hydraulic fluid levels every six months. Replace fluid if contamination is suspected.
Use a high-quality hydraulic jack oil with anti-wear additives. Avoid using brake fluid, motor oil, or any other non-specified fluids.
Check for air in the hydraulic system and bleed if necessary. Inspect the hydraulic fluid level and top up if needed. Also, ensure that the release valve is fully closed during operation.
Always check the maximum weight capacity before use. Do not exceed the rated capacity of 1500kg. Use a load weight estimation tool if unsure, and distribute the load evenly.
Sudden movements can destabilize the load and risk both equipment damage and personal injury. Always lift and lower the transmission slowly and steadily.
Lower the jack to its minimum height and clean off any debris or fluid. Store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent damage to hydraulic components.
Inspect for hydraulic fluid leaks and ensure the release valve is fully closed. If the problem persists, check for worn seals or gaskets and replace if necessary.
While primarily designed for transmissions, the TJ150E can lift other vehicle components as long as the load does not exceed its capacity and is securely fastened.
