Ensure the sander is placed on a stable surface. Connect it to a suitable power supply, and check that the sanding belt is properly aligned and tensioned according to the manual instructions.
To change the sanding belt, first disconnect the sander from the power supply. Loosen the tensioning knob, remove the old belt, and replace it with a new one, making sure it's aligned correctly before tightening the tensioning knob again.
Check the power supply and ensure the sander is plugged in correctly. Inspect the fuse and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician for further diagnosis.
Use the built-in dust extraction port and connect it to a vacuum system. Regularly clean the dust collection bag or container to maintain optimal dust extraction performance.
Regularly check and tighten any loose screws or bolts. Clean the sander after each use to remove dust and debris. Lubricate moving parts as recommended in the user manual.
To align the sanding belt, adjust the tracking knob while the sander is running. The belt should run centrally on the rollers without drifting to either side.
Ensure the sanding belt is not worn or clogged and is appropriate for the surface being sanded. Adjust the belt tension and check the surface stability for consistent pressure application.
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask. Ensure that no loose clothing or jewelry can get caught in the sander. Keep the work area well-lit and free from obstructions.
Use progressively finer grit sanding belts, starting with a coarse grit and finishing with a fine grit. Sand with the grain of the material and apply even pressure.
Stop the sander immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions in the ventilation slots, and ensure the sanding belt is not over-tensioned. Avoid prolonged use without breaks.
