The recommended nozzle size for general-purpose use is 1.4mm, which is suitable for most automotive and industrial applications.
To clean the spray gun, disassemble the nozzle and needle, then soak them in a suitable solvent. Use a brush to remove any paint residue and ensure all parts are thoroughly dried before reassembly.
The operating pressure for optimal performance is between 3-4 bar (43-58 psi). Ensure you adjust the air pressure to suit the specific material being sprayed.
Ensure the nozzle and air cap are clean and free from obstructions. Regularly check these components for wear and replace them if necessary. Also, maintain consistent hand movements while spraying.
The spray gun is compatible with a variety of paints, including acrylics, enamels, and lacquers. Always refer to the paint manufacturer's guidelines for thinning and application.
Adjust the spray pattern by turning the air cap to change the shape from circular to elliptical. Additionally, use the fluid adjustment knob to control the amount of paint being sprayed.
Check for blockages in the nozzle and air cap. Ensure that the air pressure is set correctly and that the paint is properly thinned according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Regular maintenance should be performed after each use, including cleaning and lubrication of moving parts. A more thorough inspection and servicing should be conducted every few months, depending on usage frequency.
Paint leakage can be caused by a loose nozzle or damaged seals. Tighten the nozzle securely and inspect all seals for wear or damage, replacing them if necessary.
To achieve a smooth finish, ensure the surface is clean and prepped, use the correct nozzle size, adjust the spray pattern appropriately, and maintain a consistent distance and speed while spraying.
