Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, level surface. Connect it to a power source with appropriate voltage and ensure that the power switch is in the off position before plugging in. Check that all connections are secure and fill the oil reservoir to the recommended level.
Perform a general inspection before each use. Change the compressor oil every 50 hours of operation or every 3 months, whichever comes first. Check and clean the air filter every 50 hours and replace it if necessary. Drain the tank of moisture after each use.
Check if the power supply is connected and the switch is turned on. Ensure the overload reset button has not tripped. Inspect the fuses or circuit breakers in your electrical panel. Verify that the pressure switch is functioning correctly.
Inspect for any air leaks in the hose or fittings. Check the condition of the pressure valve and ensure it’s not worn out. Verify that the intake air filter is clean and unobstructed. Ensure the tank drain valve is fully closed.
Turn off the compressor and release the pressure from the tank. Open the drain valve located at the bottom of the tank and allow the moisture to fully drain out. Close the valve securely after draining.
Use a high-quality, non-detergent compressor oil with SAE viscosity grade 30. Ensure the oil is suitable for the operating temperature range of your environment.
Place the compressor on a rubber mat to dampen vibrations. Ensure all moving parts are well-lubricated. Consider installing a soundproof enclosure if the noise level is still too high.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of the compressor. Regularly inspect hoses and connections for wear and damage. Keep the compressor away from flammable materials.
Drain all moisture from the tank and release any remaining pressure. Clean the exterior and cover the compressor to protect it from dust. Store in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight.
Turn off the compressor and allow it to cool down. Check for adequate ventilation and ensure the air filter is clean. Inspect the oil level and top up if necessary. Avoid continuous operation beyond the specified duty cycle.
