Ensure that the compressor is placed on a stable, level surface. Connect the compressor to a suitable power supply, and attach the air hose securely. Before starting, check that all fittings are tight and the pressure relief valve is closed.
First, check the power supply and ensure that the power switch is in the "ON" position. Make sure the tank pressure is not above the cut-in pressure, and check for any tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses.
Regularly inspect the air filter for dust and debris. Clean it by blowing compressed air from the inside out. Replace the filter if it shows signs of damage or excessive dirt build-up.
Use a high-quality compressor oil, such as SAE 30 or ISO VG 100. Always check the manufacturer's guidelines for any specific recommendations.
It is recommended to change the oil every 300 working hours or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil changes ensure optimal performance and longevity of the compressor.
Check for adequate ventilation around the compressor. Ensure that the ambient temperature is not too high and that the cooling fins are clean. Reduce the duty cycle if the compressor is running continuously.
Turn off the compressor and release the air pressure from the tank. Open the drain valve located at the bottom of the tank and allow the condensate to drain completely. Close the valve after draining.
Always wear appropriate safety gear such as goggles and ear protection. Ensure that all connections are secure and that the compressor is not operating in wet conditions. Follow all safety instructions in the manual.
The pressure switch can be adjusted to change the cut-in and cut-out pressures. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on adjusting the pressure settings safely.
Check for loose components or fittings that may be causing vibrations. Inspect the compressor for worn parts such as bearings or belts. Also, ensure that the compressor is placed on a stable surface.
