Ensure the compressor is on a flat surface, check oil levels, connect to a power source, and switch the power button to 'On'. Allow the compressor to build pressure before connecting any tools.
Perform daily checks on oil levels and drain the air tank. Every 50 hours, inspect air filters and clean or replace as needed. Change the oil every 200 hours of operation.
Check for air leaks around connections, ensure the drain valve is closed, inspect the intake filter for blockages, and verify the belt tension if applicable.
Place the compressor on a rubber mat to dampen vibrations, ensure it is on a level surface, and consider installing a muffler or silencer if noise persists.
Use a high-quality, non-detergent compressor oil specifically designed for air compressors. Refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for the correct oil viscosity.
Turn off the compressor and unplug it. Place a container under the drain valve, slowly open the valve to release moisture, and close it tightly once drained.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection, do not exceed the recommended pressure levels, and regularly check for air leaks or wear in hoses and connections.
Locate the pressure regulator knob, turn it clockwise to increase pressure or counterclockwise to decrease pressure. Use a pressure gauge to monitor the output accurately.
Ensure the compressor is in a well-ventilated area, check for a clogged air filter, and make sure the cooling fins are clean. Overuse without breaks can also lead to overheating.
Store the compressor in a dry, clean area. Release any air from the tank, drain moisture, and clean the unit before storage. Cover it to protect from dust and debris.
