To properly lubricate the Sealey PT1170H.V2 pallet truck, regularly apply a high-quality grease to all pivot points and the wheel bearings. Ensure the hydraulic oil level is checked and topped up if necessary.
If the pallet truck is not lifting properly, check for hydraulic oil leaks, ensure the oil level is adequate, and inspect the pump for airlocks. Bleed the hydraulic system if needed.
To adjust the lowering speed of the pallet truck, locate the release valve and turn it clockwise to slow down the lowering speed or counterclockwise to speed it up.
Store the pallet truck indoors in a dry area with the forks fully lowered to relieve hydraulic pressure and prevent accidental movement.
To replace a damaged wheel, first secure the pallet truck on a stable surface. Remove the axle pin, slide off the damaged wheel, and replace it with a new one. Secure it with the axle pin.
Inspect the pallet truck weekly for signs of wear and tear. Lubricate all moving parts monthly and check hydraulic oil levels regularly. Perform a comprehensive inspection every six months.
Inspect all seals and connections for visible leaks. Tighten any loose fittings and replace damaged seals. If the issue persists, consult a professional technician.
Check the condition of the steering wheels for wear or obstructions. Lubricate the steering mechanism and ensure that the wheels are properly aligned and inflated.
Always wear appropriate safety gear, do not exceed the maximum load capacity, and ensure the load is stable and centered on the forks before moving.
Clean the pallet truck using a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using high-pressure water as it may damage the hydraulic system. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
