Sealey PPX.V4 Instruction Manual

To perform a continuity test, connect the probe to the circuit and use the continuity mode. If the circuit is complete, the probe will emit a beep and the LED will light up.
Check the battery connections and ensure they are properly installed. Replace the batteries if necessary. Make sure the power switch is in the 'on' position.
The Sealey PPX.V4 Probe is primarily designed for DC circuits. Using it on AC circuits is not recommended and can damage the device.
Connect the black clip to ground and use the probe tip to test the circuit. The LED will indicate polarity: red for positive and green for negative.
Regularly check the probe tip and leads for wear or damage. Clean the probe tip with a dry cloth and ensure the battery compartment is free from corrosion.
Remove the fuse from its holder and use the continuity mode to check the fuse. If the probe beeps and the LED lights up, the fuse is good.
Ensure that the probe tip is clean and making good contact with the test points. Check for any loose connections or damaged leads.
The Sealey PPX.V4 Probe is rated for DC circuits up to 30 volts. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the probe.
Open the battery compartment using a screwdriver, remove the old batteries, insert new ones ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment securely.
The PPX.V4 Probe is not waterproof and should not be used in wet or damp conditions to avoid damage and ensure user safety.
