Sealey LS370H.V2 Instruction Manual

Ensure you are wearing appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and goggles. Place the log securely on the splitter, and use the control lever to engage the splitting action, making sure your hands are clear of the moving parts.
First, check the power supply and ensure the machine is plugged in correctly. Verify the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If the problem persists, inspect the power switch and consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
The hydraulic oil should be changed after the first 25 hours of use and subsequently every 100 hours of operation, or at least once per season.
Sealey recommends using ISO 32 hydraulic oil for optimal performance of the LS370H.V2 Log Splitter.
Regularly inspect the wedge for signs of dullness or damage. Sharpen it using a metal file or grinder as needed, and ensure it is securely tightened to the splitter.
The Sealey LS370H.V2 Log Splitter is designed to handle logs up to 370mm in length and 250mm in diameter.
Slow operation can be due to low hydraulic oil levels, air in the hydraulic system, or a clogged filter. Check these components and refer to the manual for bleed procedures if needed.
To remove air, position the splitter horizontally, then cycle the ram back and forth several times without a load to purge air from the system.
Regularly check and tighten any loose bolts, inspect the hydraulic system for leaks, clean the splitter after each use, and lubricate moving parts as recommended in the manual.
Before storing, clean the splitter thoroughly, drain the hydraulic oil if not used for an extended period, and store it in a dry, covered area to protect it from moisture and dust.
