To safely extend the Sealey LAD003 Ladder, ensure the ladder is on a stable surface. Unlock the extension locks, extend the ladder to the desired height, and securely lock the extension locks before use.
If the locking mechanism is not functioning, inspect it for debris or damage. Clean any dirt and ensure all parts are aligned. If the issue persists, contact Sealey customer support for assistance.
Regularly clean the ladder to remove dirt and debris. Check for any signs of wear or damage, especially on the rungs and locking mechanisms. Lubricate moving parts with a suitable lubricant and store the ladder in a dry place.
The maximum load capacity of the Sealey LAD003 Ladder is 150 kg. Ensure you do not exceed this limit to maintain safety.
Store the ladder in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use wall brackets or a rack to keep it off the ground and prevent it from falling.
Ensure all four feet of the ladder are on a level surface. Check that all locking mechanisms are securely engaged. For additional stability, use non-slip pads if necessary.
If you find a crack in a ladder rung, discontinue use immediately. Contact Sealey for advice on repair or replacement to ensure safety.
The ladder should not be used directly on uneven ground. Use ladder levelers or place it on a stable platform to ensure even contact with the ground.
When transporting the ladder, ensure it is fully retracted and locked. Secure it with straps to prevent movement during transit. Avoid placing it in a way that could cause damage or injury.
Inspect the ladder before each use for any signs of damage or wear. A thorough inspection should be conducted at least once a month if frequently used.
