To ignite the Sealey HT104R Torch, ensure it is properly connected to the gas source. Turn the gas control valve slightly open and use the built-in piezo ignition by pressing the ignition button to produce a spark.
The Sealey HT104R Torch is compatible with both propane and butane gas. Make sure to use a compatible gas canister for optimal performance.
To adjust the flame size, use the gas control valve located on the torch. Turning it clockwise will reduce the flame, while turning it counterclockwise will increase it.
If the torch does not ignite, check that the gas canister is properly attached and contains fuel. Ensure the gas control valve is open and inspect the ignition button and spark mechanism for any obstructions or damage.
Regularly clean the nozzle and body of the torch to prevent buildup of debris. Store it in a dry place and check for any gas leaks or damage before each use.
The Sealey HT104R Torch should not be used in wet conditions as this may affect its performance and safety. Always use the torch in dry environments.
Wear protective eyewear and gloves, ensure good ventilation, and keep flammable materials away from the torch. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and never leave the torch unattended while lit.
Check the gas canister to ensure it is not empty or cold. Inspect the nozzle for blockages and make sure the gas control valve is fully open.
Detach the gas canister, ensure the torch is cool, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area away from flammable substances.
Common signs include a faulty ignition system, persistent gas leaks, inconsistent flame output, or visible damage to the torch body.
