To start the Sealey GG7500 Generator, ensure that the fuel valve is open, the choke is engaged, and the engine switch is turned on. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts. Once started, gradually disengage the choke.
The Sealey GG7500 Generator is designed to use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Ensure that the fuel is fresh to prevent starting issues.
Change the oil after the first 20 hours of operation, and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 10W-30 oil for optimal performance.
If the generator won't start, check that there is sufficient fuel and oil. Ensure the spark plug is clean and connected properly. Verify that the air filter is clean and not obstructed.
To prevent overloading, do not exceed the generator's rated wattage. Connect only essential appliances and start them one at a time to manage the load efficiently.
For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Remove and clean the spark plug, and add a few drops of oil into the cylinder. Store the generator in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it in soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry. Lightly oil the filter before reinstalling it.
To shut down the generator, first turn off and unplug all appliances. Then, switch the engine switch to 'off' and close the fuel valve. Allow the generator to cool before storing.
To perform a load test, connect a load that matches the generator's capacity, like a light or heater. Run the generator for a few minutes, ensuring it can handle the load without fluctuating or shutting down.
If the generator runs rough or misfires, check the spark plug for fouling or damage, and replace if necessary. Ensure the air filter is clean and that the fuel is not stale.
