Sealey GDM200F.V2 Instruction Manual

Ensure the drill is placed on a stable surface. Check all components are securely fastened. Connect to a power source and test the operation without any load to ensure everything is functioning correctly.
First, turn off and unplug the drill. Use a wrench to gently turn the drill chuck in reverse to release the bit. Ensure the bit is sharp and appropriate for the material being drilled.
Regularly clean the drill and its components to remove dust and debris. Lubricate moving parts as per the manufacturer's recommendations and check for any signs of wear or damage.
Overheating can be caused by extended use or a clogged ventilation system. Allow the drill to cool down, clean the vents, and ensure adequate airflow during use. Avoid overloading the drill.
The drill is compatible with standard twist drill bits. Ensure the shank size matches the drill chuck capacity, typically up to 13mm.
Use an adjustable drill press vise to hold the workpiece at the desired angle. Adjust the drill table to align with the angle, and securely fix the workpiece before starting.
Always wear safety goggles and gloves. Securely clamp the workpiece, check the drill bit for damage, and ensure the workspace is clear of obstructions. Disconnect the power when changing bits.
The drill speed can be changed by adjusting the belt position on the pulleys. Follow the speed chart provided in the user manual to match the belt position to the desired speed.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced drill bit or loose components. Check that the drill bit is properly seated and inspect the machine for any loose parts.
Unplug the drill, open the belt cover, and release the tension. Remove the old belt and position the new belt on the pulleys. Adjust the tension to ensure proper grip, and close the belt cover.
