Sealey DHB1300 Instruction Manual

To change the chisel, ensure the hammer is unplugged, then pull back the chuck collar and insert the new chisel until it locks into place. Release the collar to secure the chisel.
Regular maintenance includes checking the carbon brushes for wear, cleaning the vents to prevent dust buildup, and lubricating the tool as specified in the user manual.
Check if the power cord is plugged in and inspect it for damage. Verify that the fuse or circuit breaker is not tripped. If the problem persists, consult an authorized service center.
Always wear safety goggles, ear protection, and gloves. Ensure the work area is clear of debris, and never use the tool on unstable surfaces or ladders.
The DHB1300 is designed primarily for demolition purposes and should not be used for drilling tasks.
Use the side handle for better grip and control, and take regular breaks to minimize exposure to vibrations.
Turn off and unplug the tool before attempting to remove the chisel. Use a wrench if necessary to gently free the chisel, and avoid forcing it.
Check the carbon brushes every 50 hours of use and replace them if they are worn down to less than 5mm in length.
Clean the tool to remove dust and debris, then store it in a dry place, ideally in its case, to protect it from moisture and damage.
Ensure the tool is properly maintained and use the correct chisel for the task. Applying consistent pressure rather than excessive force will also improve efficiency.
