To charge the battery, connect it to the supplied charger and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the battery is fully seated in the charger. The LED indicator will show the charging status. It is recommended to charge the battery fully before first use.
First, check if the battery is charged and properly connected. Inspect the battery contacts for any dirt or corrosion. If the tool still doesn’t start, ensure the direction switch is in the correct position and the trigger is not stuck.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the tool with a dry cloth, checking for loose screws, and ensuring the battery contacts are clean. Periodically inspect the tool for any visible damage and ensure proper lubrication of moving parts.
Avoid overcharging the battery and do not let it completely discharge before recharging. Store the battery in a cool, dry place and use it regularly to maintain performance. Following the manufacturer’s charging instructions is crucial.
Ensure that the battery is fully charged as low power can affect torque output. Check that you are using the correct socket size and that it is properly seated. Inspect the tool for any mechanical obstructions or wear that might affect performance.
The Sealey CP400LI is not designed for use in wet conditions. Using the tool in such environments can lead to damage and pose safety risks. Always use the tool in dry and safe conditions.
To replace the battery, press the release button located on the battery pack and slide it out from the tool. Align the new battery with the contacts and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
Store the impact wrench in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. It’s best to keep the battery separate from the tool and ensure both are stored at a stable temperature. Use the carrying case if provided.
It is recommended to use only the batteries provided by or approved by Sealey to ensure compatibility and safety. Third-party batteries may not deliver the same performance and could void the warranty.
Stop using the tool immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any blockages in the tool’s ventilation slots. Avoid using the tool continuously for long periods without breaks. If overheating persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
