Ensure the vehicle ignition is off. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
Check the connections to ensure the clamps are properly attached to the battery terminals. Also, verify that the battery has sufficient charge.
The tester is suitable for 12V lead-acid batteries, including wet, gel, and AGM types.
Start the vehicle and connect the tester as described. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to check the alternator’s charging performance.
