Ensure the ladder is fully extended and locked before use. Position it on a stable, level surface, and maintain a 75-degree angle to the ground. Check for any damage or loose parts before climbing.
The Sealey ASCL2 Ladder has a maximum weight capacity of 150 kg. Ensure that the combined weight of the user and any tools does not exceed this limit.
Inspect the locking mechanism for debris or damage. Clean any obstructive materials and check for proper alignment. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact customer support for further assistance.
Regularly inspect for signs of wear or damage, clean the ladder with mild soap and water, and ensure all moving parts are lubricated as needed. Store in a dry place to prevent rusting.
It is not recommended to use the ladder on uneven surfaces. If necessary, use ladder leveling tools or stabilizers to ensure safety.
Securely fasten the ladder to your vehicle using straps, ensuring it is stable and does not protrude dangerously. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the ladder.
Immediately descend and inspect the ladder for loose components or structural damage. Tighten any loose bolts and verify that the ladder is positioned on a stable surface.
Store the ladder in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. It should be stored vertically or hung securely to prevent bending or warping.
Use the 4-to-1 rule: for every four feet of ladder height, position the base one foot away from the wall or structure. This will help maintain the optimal 75-degree angle.
Check for any visible damage, such as cracks or bent rungs, ensure that all locking mechanisms are functioning, and verify that the ladder is clean and dry.
