To load rivets, select the correct nozzle for the rivet size, insert the rivet shaft into the nozzle, and ensure it is securely fastened. Squeeze the handles to set the rivet.
Ensure you are using the correct size nozzle for the rivet. Check for any obstructions in the nozzle and ensure the riveter is fully operational without any jammed parts.
Regularly clean the riveter to remove debris and apply light lubrication to moving parts. Store in a dry place to prevent rust and corrosion.
Inspect for any debris or obstructions in the mechanism. Lubricate the pivot points and check for any misalignment in the handles.
The Sealey AK3991 is suitable for use with materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Ensure compatibility with the material thickness and rivet type.
Unscrew the current nozzle using the appropriate tool, select the correct size nozzle for your rivet, and screw it onto the riveter until secure.
Store the riveter in a dry, cool place. Keep it in its case or a tool box to protect it from dust and physical damage.
The jaws might be worn out or dirty. Clean the jaws and check for wear. Replace them if necessary to ensure proper grip.
Check for any visible damage, ensure all parts are properly assembled, and inspect the internal components for any obstructions or damage.
Wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying debris. Keep fingers clear of the rivet path and ensure the workpiece is securely clamped.
