To load glue sticks, insert the stick into the rear of the glue gun, then apply gentle pressure until it is securely in place. Ensure the gun is preheated before attempting to dispense glue.
The recommended warm-up time is approximately 5 minutes. An indicator light will show when the gun is ready for use.
To minimize dripping, always retract the glue stick slightly by releasing the trigger after use and ensure the gun is placed on a non-stick surface or in the provided stand.
Check the power supply and ensure the gun is properly plugged in. Inspect the cord for any visible damage. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Allow the gun to cool completely, then use a soft cloth or paper towel to wipe away any residual glue. Avoid using sharp objects that could damage the nozzle.
The glue gun can be used on most common materials such as wood, plastic, fabric, and metal. However, always test on a small area first to ensure compatibility.
Regular maintenance checks should be conducted monthly, especially if the gun is in frequent use, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Always wear protective gloves and eyewear. Never touch the nozzle when hot, and keep the gun away from flammable materials. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated.
Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application. Apply the glue evenly and press the surfaces together firmly for several seconds.
Switch off and unplug the gun, then allow it to cool. Carefully remove any blockage from the nozzle using a non-metallic tool. If necessary, consult the user manual for further instructions.
