To properly position the jack, locate the vehicle's jacking points, typically found in the owner's manual. Roll the trolley jack so the saddle is directly beneath these points, ensuring the surface is level and stable.
The Sealey 3015CXHV.V2 Trolley Jack has a maximum lifting capacity of 3 tonnes (3000 kg).
Check if the release valve is fully closed, ensure the hydraulic oil level is adequate, and inspect for any visible leaks or damage. If problems persist, consult the manual or contact customer support.
Use a high-quality hydraulic oil, such as ISO 32, for optimal performance. Always refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for specific recommendations.
Regular maintenance should be performed every six months or sooner if the jack is used frequently. This includes checking hydraulic oil levels, inspecting for leaks, and greasing moving parts.
Inspect the jack for any obstructions or binding in the mechanism. Ensure that all moving parts are properly lubricated. If resistance persists, check the hydraulic oil level and top up if necessary.
To lower the vehicle safely, slowly turn the release valve counterclockwise with the handle. This will allow the hydraulic fluid to return to the reservoir, lowering the vehicle gently.
A small amount of settling is normal, but if the jack continues to lower or does not hold the vehicle, check for leaks and ensure the release valve is fully closed.
Always use the jack on a hard, level surface, never exceed the rated capacity, and use jack stands to support the vehicle after lifting. Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.
Signs that the jack may need service include leaking hydraulic fluid, difficulty in lifting, unusual noises during operation, or failure to maintain pressure.
