Begin by ensuring the jack is on a solid, level surface. Securely attach the handle to the pump. Check that all bolts and screws are tightened and inspect the hydraulic fluid level before using.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and top it up if necessary. Also, inspect for any air pockets in the hydraulic system and bleed the system if needed.
It is recommended to perform maintenance every 3 months or after every 50 hours of use, whichever comes first. This includes checking the hydraulic fluid, inspecting for leaks, and lubricating moving parts.
While primarily designed for transmissions, the jack can be used to lift other heavy components as long as the weight does not exceed the maximum capacity and the load is properly balanced.
Always wear safety gear such as gloves and goggles. Ensure the load is centered and secured before lifting. Never exceed the rated capacity, and keep the work area clear.
Inspect all seals and connections for signs of wear or damage. Tighten any loose fittings and replace damaged seals. If leakage persists, consult a professional technician.
To bleed the system, lower the jack completely, open the release valve, and pump the handle several times. Close the valve and test the jack to ensure it lifts smoothly.
Store the jack in a dry, clean area. Lower the lifting arm completely and ensure the release valve is closed. Cover the jack to protect it from dust and debris.
This may be due to a faulty release valve or hydraulic leakage. Inspect the valve for debris or damage and ensure it's fully closed during operation.
Use the tilt adjustment knobs located on the jack to carefully position the load. Ensure the load is stable and balanced after making any adjustments.
