To align the blade, first ensure the saw is powered off and unplugged. Loosen the blade tension and adjust the tracking knob until the blade is centered on the wheels. Tighten the blade tension and check alignment with the guide.
Weekly, clean the sawdust and debris from the machine. Monthly, check the blade for wear and lubricate the moving parts. Annually, inspect the drive belt for wear and replace if necessary.
Ensure the blade is properly tensioned and aligned. Check if the guide bearings are correctly adjusted and the workpiece is fed into the blade evenly.
Unplug the saw and release the blade tension. Remove the blade guard and carefully slide the old blade off the wheels. Install the new blade, ensuring it is properly seated on both wheels, then re-tension the blade.
Turn off the saw and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions in the ventilation openings and ensure the motor is not overloaded. Clean the motor housing and inspect for any signs of wear.
To adjust the cutting depth, loosen the depth adjustment knob located near the blade assembly. Slide the blade guard to the desired height and tighten the knob securely.
For cutting metal, it is recommended to use a bi-metal blade with fine teeth, designed specifically for metal cutting applications.
Ensure the dust port is connected to a proper dust collection system. Regularly clean the dust collection bag or container, and check for any blockages in the hoses or ports.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced blade or improper installation. Check the blade for damage and ensure it is correctly tensioned and aligned. Additionally, inspect the wheels for wear.
Locate the circuit breaker reset button on the motor housing. Press the button firmly until it clicks, then wait a few moments before restarting the saw.
