The recommended break-in procedure includes avoiding full throttle starts and varying engine speed up to 4500 RPM for the first 600 miles (1000 km). After this period, gradually increase the RPM and load on the engine.
The oil should be changed every 6000 miles (10000 km) or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Regular oil checks and changes are crucial for maintaining optimal engine performance.
Premium unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 95 RON is recommended to ensure proper engine performance and efficiency.
Check the battery connections and charge, ensure there is fuel in the tank, and inspect the fuses. If the problem persists, consult with an authorized MV Agusta dealer.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi (2.5 bar) for the front tire and 42 psi (2.9 bar) for the rear tire. Regularly check and adjust tire pressures to maintain safety and performance.
Regularly clean and lubricate the chain every 500 miles (800 km) or sooner if riding in wet or dusty conditions. Check the chain tension and adjust it to the specified slack of 20-30 mm.
If the check engine light illuminates, check for any obvious issues such as loose gas cap or low oil level. If no issues are apparent, schedule an inspection with an authorized MV Agusta service center.
Adjust the suspension settings according to your weight and riding style. Consider using padded riding gear or adding aftermarket cushioned seats for additional comfort.
Valve clearance should be checked every 12,000 miles (20,000 km) to ensure optimal engine performance and prevent potential damage.
Clean the motorcycle thoroughly, lubricate all necessary parts, fill the fuel tank with stabilized fuel, disconnect the battery, and store the bike in a cool, dry place. Consider using a cover to protect it from dust.
