To assemble your trimmer, attach the power head to the trimmer shaft by aligning the arrows on both parts. Tighten the connection securely using the provided tool. Ensure the guard is properly installed to prevent debris from causing injury.
Insert the M18 battery into the battery compartment until it clicks into place. Ensure the safety lock is engaged, then press and hold the trigger to start the trimmer. Release the safety lock once the trimmer is running.
The cutting height can be adjusted by changing the angle at which you hold the trimmer. For more precise control, you may also use different attachments designed for specific trimming heights.
First, check if the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Inspect for any obstructions in the trimmer head. Ensure the safety lock is disengaged, and check for any damage to the power switch or wiring.
Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid fully depleting the battery before recharging. Regularly clean the battery contacts to ensure proper connection.
Replace the trimmer line when it becomes too short or frayed, usually after every few hours of heavy use. Regular inspection will help determine when replacement is necessary.
It is recommended to use a high-quality, heavy-duty trimmer line, typically 0.080" or 0.095" in diameter, for optimal performance and durability.
Remove any debris or grass clippings from the trimmer head after each use. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Occasionally disassemble the head for a thorough cleaning, ensuring all parts are dry before reassembly.
Check if the trimmer line is evenly distributed and not too short. Inspect the shaft and head for any damage or misalignment. Tighten any loose components and replace worn parts as needed.
Avoid overloading the trimmer by using it within its operational limits. Regularly check and clean air vents to prevent overheating. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance schedule and use only recommended accessories.
