To change the bit, first ensure the driver is powered off. Pull the collar of the chuck forward, insert the new bit, and release the collar to secure it.
To maintain battery life, avoid extreme temperatures, fully charge the battery before storage, and recharge before complete depletion. Regularly clean battery contacts.
Check if the battery is charged and properly connected. Inspect for any visible damage or debris in the battery compartment and ensure the trigger is not stuck.
The torque settings can be adjusted using the clutch settings ring located just behind the chuck. Rotate the ring to your desired torque level.
If the driver overheats, stop usage immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions in the ventilation slots and ensure the bit is not jammed.
The M18 Fuel Driver is primarily designed for driving screws and bolts. For drilling into concrete, consider using a hammer drill or rotary hammer instead.
Regularly inspect and clean after heavy use, ideally after every few uses. Service the tool annually for optimal performance, checking for wear and tear.
Store the driver in a cool, dry place. Detach the battery before storage and keep it in a protective case to prevent dust accumulation.
Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly seated. Check for any loose connections or debris in the battery compartment and inspect the motor for obstructions.
Wear safety goggles and gloves, ensure proper footing, and keep the work area clean. Avoid wearing loose clothing or jewelry that could get caught in the tool.
